At the height of the 2008 economic downturn, Stephanie was tapped by a national online education company to play an integral role in a national campaign called the Career Stimulus Empowerment Tour which traveled to 40 cities in the U.S. She served as marketing consultant, partner & community engagement specialist, business coach, and national spokesperson, she was featured on a vast number of local and national media. Her efforts reached over 3 million individuals, generating 600,000 entries. The campaign gave out 525 full-tuition online education scholarships valued at over $11 million to unemployed and underemployed women & men.
As a result of the success of the Empowerment Tour, the company launched a second national initiative called Project Working Moms over a two year period. Stephanie served as national spokesperson, career coach and event producer for six women empowerment dinners across the U.S. She coached more than 1,200 adults nationwide and hosted more than 1,000 women in six major U.S. markets for the dinners.
